Common Questions

Here are some of the most common questions we hear from our members and interested new members.
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Each weekend at Bridge Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. You will have a printed worship guide with everything you need to know. You can follow along with the message in your worship guide or on our Bridge Church app. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled Bridge Kids service.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Weekend Services. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Bridge Church is not about what you look like or what you wear.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Bridge Church has 2 locations. Our Greenbrier location is a short distance from Interstate 64 in a new facility in Greenbrier. If you live in the Eastern Chesapeake, Western VA Beach, South Norfolk, or anywhere close, you and your family will feel right at home at Bridge Church Greenbrier.

Our Virginia Beach location is our first location. It is located on Indian River Rd just 1/4 mile south of North Landing. Virginia Beach is our largest location with over 1200 regular attenders and is home to the central offices of the church.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Bridge Church your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. We offer a dynamic children’s ministry called Bridge Kids as well as life-changing ministry to students from junior high through college.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Starting Point Newcomers Party. Bridge Groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?
Bridge Groups are an important part of Bridge Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As Bridge Church grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected. Groups are available for all ages and interests—there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
